Do You March to the Beat of a Different Drum?
Just curious. Wondering if maybe you get a little antsy from time to time and want to do things a little bit differently. You might not fit into the corporate world too well, and you would really prefer to live your life a little bit outside the “norm.” You’re smart, capable, and you have big dreams that pull and tug at you. You’re willing to take risks. Well, maybe not life-threatening risks, but risks that other people aren’t willing to take.
Most of all you dream of doing something you really love — even when people look at you like you’re a bit touched. But it doesn’t matter. That dream won’t leave you alone. You know it’s what you’re meant to do — you just don’t know how to make it happen.
There are dozens of blogs and experts out there to help you build your dream business and become a gazillionaire. That’s what everybody wants, right? Well, maybe not. Don’t get me wrong. There’s nothing wrong with making good money. It makes life easier. It gives you the ability to help others in certain ways. But you know that there’s more to it than the money, and you know that the sweet spot is where the line between your work and your life blur, and your work becomes an extension of who you are.
Maybe you’ve already signed up with one (or several) of the experts who are going to help you make your dreams a reality. But you’re still getting nowhere, despite your best efforts. You listen to what the experts are telling you…
Except that they don’t tell you the most important parts, like…
- How to use your time productively and
- What things to focus on, and
- How to choose the right tools for the job.
They don’t teach you how to build the infrastructure and develop the core skills that you need to build your dream. They don’t teach you how to be a “pro” as Steven Pressfield defines it.
That’s where you really need guidance. That’s where we all need some help, to understand and build core skills that successful entrepreneurs put to use every single day.
That’s what we’re here for, to help you learn how to:
- Structure your time
- Stay focused
- Recognize and tame Resistance
- Focus on the right part of your business at the right time, and
- Use the best tools for the job.
This is where passion meets practical. Where you can dream big (and we’re not talking about fantasies here, but real, attainable dreams) and you can learn the steps that will, if you’re ready, help you turn dreams into reality.
I’ll tell you the truth that a lot of the big dawgs won’t tell you — It’s not easy. And it’s not for everybody. But here’s where I part company with the incredible people who introduced me to these skills — they all say that you must do it alone. We can split hairs and argue this for hours, and although I agree that the personal decision has to be made alone, I know from experience that having someone to share the journey with is invaluable. Having a guide and companions make the path a little easier. And having someone else to help hold you accountable is a huge asset.
If you’re not ready, that’s OK. No judgment, no problem. But if you’re ready to put one foot in front of the other, in small steps, day after day, and work consistently to create your dream life, I’m here to help. I’m not going to tell you I have all the answers. But I am going to show you the ropes — step by step, practical, useful. And if you “get it” you can create something you never thought possible.
The 3 boxes below will tell you the pieces-parts of what we do. Mostly we have a lot of fun and get a little over-the-top excited about building small businesses, drinking good wine, and cooking amazing food. Check it out and see what we’re up to — and then contact us using the info in the upper right corner. I love having work that is woven into my life, and as someone once told me — When “work” is the same word as “play” you know you’re on to something.
